Liger Telugu Movie Review: Vijay Devarakonda today brought us 'Liger', the film has created a lot of curiosity since its announcement and being Vijay Devarakonda's first Pan India film, the interest has doubled after the makers released the trailer.
Balamani (Ramya Krishna) and her son Ligar (Vijay Devarakonda) are from Karimnagar but come to a city called Mumbai to survive where they both start a 'chai' business to survive. At the same time, Balamani decides that her son should become a boxing champion but boxing requires a lot of money. Uncovers a truth about Liger's father This is where the story takes a turn, who is Liger's father in the end? What is the story behind Balamani? Will Liger become a boxer? To know all this, you have to watch the movie.
Vijay as a liger does very well with stuttering in many scenes but fails to show some core emotions but we have to appreciate his make-over to look like a boxer, Ananya Pandey has no scope for acting, Ramyakrishna as Balamani is fantastic, her body language, dialogue delivery are all done brilliantly.
Puri Jagannadh is known for his take, hero characterization and dialogues, Puri mark can be seen in this movie but not like in his old movies, this time he focused more on the story than the hero, however, he succeeded in hooking the audience.
Finally, Liger is an engaging boxing drama that can be watched by all sections of the audience and is a visual feast for Vijay Deverakonda fans.
Movie Rating: 2.5/5
