Cocaine Bear (in the original language Cocaine Bear) is the new feature film directed by Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect 2, Charlie's Angels) which has a truly absurd, but partly true concept: the realization, in fact, takes up a news story currently happening in the world starring a bear who accidentally took kg of cocaine and sowed panic around.
After his legendary stunt, the animal, unfortunately, died because the heart could not handle such a quantity of an amazing substance. This immediately makes it clear that the feature film will certainly be a demented and trashy title which, precisely because of its out-of-the-ordinary content, must not escape when it arrives in theaters all over the globe.
Cocaine Bear will be distributed in cinemas from April 27, 2023
In addition to the Cocaine Bear trailer that we saw recently, which already heralded the tone of the film, the communication behind the film is taking advantage of the Christmas period to indulge in a decidedly funny (albeit a little obvious) joke.
Are you having a white Christmas this year? pic.twitter.com/pL6aORx89G
In fact, a nice clip was uploaded directly on the official Twitter page of the title that sees gold as the protagonist imprisoned in a classic Christmas sphere where, instead of snow, there is obviously cocaine. Above the video, the question is legitimate: "Did you have a White Christmas this year?". Clearly, the pun needs no explanation and the result is downright entertaining.
We remind you that Cocaine Bear is produced by Brownstone Productions, Lord Miller, and Universal Pictures with the screenplay by Jimmy Warden and a cast composed by Keri Russell in the part of Colette Matthews, Margo Martindale, Ray Liotta who plays Dentwood (his last film appearance before his death), Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Matthew Rhys and many more. The feature film will arrive on April 27, 2023, in Italian cinemas with distribution by Universal Pictures.
