Super Mario Bros: Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (producers of Teen Titans Go! – The Movie), from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2: A New Adventure, Minions 2 – How Gru Becomes Despicable), Super Mario Bros. will arrive in cinema on April 6, 2023.

The film is produced by Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo. The film is co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and distributed worldwide by Universal Pictures.

Although the information on the film is now in the public domain, a very important question still remains to be answered for fans who will not have the opportunity to see the awaited film at the cinema. When is the small screen release for Super Mario Bros. Netflix users? The wait is apparently not that long!

Super Mario Bros.: the release window of the film on Netflix may have been revealed!

By revealing the release date in cinemas, it is possible to deduce even only partially the timing of arrival on the streaming platform that will host the release of the awaited animated product. By studying the agreements established between Netflix and Universal in 2021, it is clear that the films arrive on the platform in an expected time window of about four months.

These films also arrive on Peacock+ approximately 70 days after their theatrical release. According to the timing, therefore, one could venture a release date for Super Mario Bros, which is approaching autumn 2023, precisely we are talking about October next year.

The fans are no longer in the skin! In addition to Pratt's Mario and Key's Toad, the film's cast is studded with stars: Anya Taylor-Joy is the voice of Princess Peach, Charlie Day is Luigi, Jack Black is Bowser and Seth Rogen is the voice of Donkey Kong. For Italy, the voice of the famous Nintendo plumber will be that of Claudio Santamaria. Additionally, the first official clip from Illumination's adaptation of Super Mario Bros. was shown on stage at the Game Awards, showcasing the hustle and bustle of the Mushroom Kingdom, the home of all Toads.
